A beloved Toronto neighbourhood is about to transform into a whimsical, larger-than-life winter spectacle just in time for the holidays.
Each year in late November / early December, Moore Park’s Inglewood Drive sheds its identity temporarily and becomes “Kringlewood,” a cherished local tradition where dozens of identical, towering inflatable Santas take over front lawns. The display has become a festive favourite, drawing visitors from across the city to experience its singular, playful charm.
Forget subtle string lights; Kringlewood goes all in. Since 2013, homeowners between St. Clair East and Rosedale Heights have united to set up their signature 14-foot Kris Kringle inflatables. The result is a striking, supersized lineup of cheerful Santa figures, in some years, featuring as many as 50 figures waving hello to onlookers along the street.

But the spectacle is more than just a magnificent photo opportunity. Kringlewood is rooted in community and generosity, supporting neighbours in need. Donation boxes are placed along the route, encouraging visitors to contribute cash or non-perishable food to the Daily Bread Food Bank.
The result is a truly festive, feel-good tradition that spreads pure joy while making a meaningful difference. Kringlewood is free to visit and can be found along Inglewood Drive in Moore Park.
