A new airline will soon begin flying out of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, connecting travelers directly to the capital city of Italy.
Starting next week on Friday, May 10, Italia Trasporto Aereo S.p.A. (a.k.a. ITA Airways) commences its inaugural flights into and out of Canada, bringing six weekly flights from Toronto to Rome.
ITA Airways is Italy’s national flag carrier, which currently flies to over 70 scheduled domestic, European, and intercontinental destinations.
From June to September, the airline will increase service to daily flights to satisfy increased demand during the summer.
When travel slows down in October, they will continue to operate five weekly flights.
