This summer in Toronto has been jam packed with food festivals of all kinds, from the Taste of India Festival last weekend to Brunch Fest back in June.
We aren’t judging if you’ve had to add a notch or two to those belt buckles, especially since Taco Fest is back this weekend and bigger than ever!
Returning to Toronto for its eighth year, Taco Fest will take place over three days at a brand new location with even more bites to try than ever before.
Taking over Fort York from August 9 – 11, the festival will feature over 250 varieties of tacos, featuring off-menu items and limited edition restaurant collabs.
After trying as many tacos as you can handle, you’ll be able to vote on Toronto’s “Best Taco”, in which the winner will receive a massive taco-shaped trophy and bragging rights.
Toronto’s top chefs will also be serving other items, including freshly-made guacamole, Mexican street corn, churros, a hot sauce bar, and so much more.
Pair your tacos with one of the 32 tequilas to try, margarita, or specialty cocktail.
In between indulging in tacos, there will also be fun activities like salsa lessons, live mariachi bands, interactive games, a guac school, and the ‘Jarritos Chill Zone’.
Taco Fest has been known to sell out in years past, so don’t miss your chance and get your tickets now on their website.
Prices start at $17.50, though you can upgrade to a VIP ticket for $49.50 which will get you fast-track admission, anytime entry, and access to a private lounge with dedicated servers. The event is 19+.
