An electric stadium experience will be bringing thousands of fans together as the city cheers on its beloved baseball team.
With the Blue Jays on the verge of winning their first World Series title in 32 years, Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment (MLSE) is opening its doors for a massive watch party at Scotiabank Arena this Friday night, showing the game on the arena’s jumbotron.
With tickets to Game 6 at the Rogers Centre going for thousands of dollars, this watch party is your next best bet to experience the thrill of the game in a similar atmosphere, surrounded by excited fans.
For those attending, there will be pre-game programming, giveaways, and activations during the event.
Game 6 will be broadcast live tonight for those gathered in the arena, and should the series go to Game 7, MLSE announced they will also host another watch party on Saturday, November 1.
The arena was conveniently free for both of these potential watch party dates. The Toronto Raptors play a road game on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers, before returning home on Sunday, Nov. 2.
Just like the Rogers Centre’s away game watch parties, tickets to attend the Jays watch party at Scotiabank Arena are $15 each, with net proceeds going to the MLSE Foundation.
Doors will open at 7 p.m., with Game 6 beginning at 8 p.m.
The City of Toronto will also host a free watch party outdoors at Nathan Phillips Square this evening, or you can find more at our round-up here.
