North America’s largest indoor boat show is returning to the city this month, and it’s bringing a one-of-a-kind floating surprise to the city.
From January 17 to 25, the 68th annual Toronto International Boat Show will transform the Enercare Centre into a massive aquatic playground. While the event is a long-standing tradition for local mariners, this year features a world-first that you won’t want to miss: a full-sized, floating pickleball court right in the middle of the world’s largest indoor lake.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just curious about North America’s fastest-growing sport, you can sign up to smash, dink, and rally on the water from January 17 to 21. It is the only place on the planet where you can play a match while literally floating on a million gallons of water.
The “Lake” (which famously replaces the ice at Coca-Cola Coliseum) will also host a variety of free daily activities. You can take a peaceful paddle in a clear kayak during the Sunset Golden Hour, or watch high-octane action during the Indoor Wakeboard Canadian Championships. For those who prefer a slower pace, the show is offering glow-in-the-dark boating and even antique boat rides to support local charities.

Film buffs should mark their calendars for January 22, when the Paddling Film Festival kicks off its 20th Anniversary World Tour. The screening event will feature award-winning documentaries from around the globe, celebrating the deep connection between people and the great outdoors.

Beyond the entertainment, the show serves as a massive hub for the boating lifestyle, featuring over 1,000 boats on display and 200 free seminars.
The Toronto International Boat Show runs from January 17 to 25 at the Enercare Centre and Exhibition Place. You can grab your tickets and check out the full seminar schedule on the official Toronto Boat Show website.
