Canada turns 159 tomorrow, and the country’s largest theme park is celebrating in a big way.
From July 1 to July 5, 2026, Canada’s Wonderland will turn into a bustling hub of national pride for its annual Celebration Canada event, presented by Neutrogena. For the biggest Canada Day celebration in the Greater Toronto Area, the park is pulling out all the stops to throw an unforgettable birthday party – and you’re all invited!
On July 1st, visitors can experience the soul-stirring sounds of the Smoke Trail Singers, who will bring inspiring Indigenous performances to the stage. Throughout the multi-day festival, you can also catch lively street performers filling the pathways.
You’ll also want to make sure you arrive hungry, as the park is cooking up a specially curated menu showcasing the country’s diverse flavours. Guests can savour everything from classic poutine and peameal bacon sliders to bold jerk chicken flatbread and sweet, decadent butter tarts.
Of course, the pinnacle of the celebration takes place on July 1 with the spectacular Canada Day Fireworks show. After a full day of riding roller coasters and rides, everyone will gather for the show where over 6,000 colourful fireworks will burst more than 800 feet above in the night sky.
The fireworks are choreographed to an original soundtrack, and you’ll simultaneously get to see breathtaking fire divers off Wonder Mountain.
Celebration Canada takes place at Canada’s Wonderland from July 1–5, 2026, with the grand Canada Day fireworks show lighting up the sky at 10 p.m. on July 1st.
