Every day we celebrate the work of the feminist movement. However, on International Women’s Day, we highlight the progress made and the challenges still ahead. And among all the platforms there are to empower women, music, time and time again, has served as an engine to carry this message. So, when Beyoncé sang “Who Runs the World? Girls“, we knew she was onto something. The truth is, there’s no lie in that statement.
Feel empowered on International Women’s Day with Candlelight
On March 8, celebrate womanhood while listening to some of the songs of today’s most empowering pop divas at Candlelight: Modern Divas of Pop.
