You can soon take a drive-thru blast through the prehistoric past.
While there may not have been cars back in the Mesozoic Era, a new immersive drive-thru experience heading to Toronto this March will have visitors feeling like they’ve stepped back in time to when the dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Taking place at Toronto’s Exhibition Place from March 12 to March 28, 2021, Dino Drive will “resurrect” 35 real-size, museum-quality dinosaurs to come alive with life-like movements and roars.
This unique dinosaur-themed experience will be reminiscent of Jurassic Park. As you cruise through the exhibition, you’ll come across all types of gigantic dinosaurs including carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. They’ll seem very realistic, but don’t worry — they aren’t alive, so no need to be afraid. This family-friendly activity is also educational, as there will be an informative audio track that you can connect to through your car stereo to learn fun facts about how the extinct creatures lived 65 million years ago.
To ensure you can explore the dinosaur world safely, the event will be completely contactless and socially distanced. Everyone is asked to remain in their vehicles at all times and to arrive within 15 minutes of their designated time slot. Tickets cost $45 per car, are sold online only for times between 9 am and 9 pm, and will be scanned through closed car windows.
Note: To access the exhibition, please enter through Ontario Dr. and Lakeshore.
