A historic Toronto neighborhood is gearing up for its biggest party yet as the city prepares to ring in 2026. The Distillery Winter Village has officially unveiled its New Year’s Eve Bash programming, and is ready to transform its iconic cobblestone streets into a spectacular celebration under the stars.
The beloved Christmas market will host one final hurrah on December 31, providing locals with a festive alternative to Toronto’s official New Year’s Eve celebration on the waterfront.

The ticketed outdoor event kicks off in Trinity Square this Wednesday, right beneath the shimmering, massive 55-foot Christmas tree adorned with 80,000 lights. Hosted by Devo Brown and DJ Clymaxxx from KiSS Radio, the bash will keep attendees entertained from dusk until well past midnight into the new year.
A pre-party will start from 6 to 9:30 p.m., featuring a live performance by Mo Guzman. DJ Clymaxxx will take over the decks at 10 p.m., turning the historic square into a massive open-air dance floor. The grand celebration however arrives at midnight, featuring a spectacular fireworks display launching directly over the Distillery District.

No celebration at the Distillery is complete without a bit of indulgence. Throughout the evening, guests can explore over 40 seasonal food cabins or duck into one of the many themed pop-up bars to toast to the new year. Grab a steaming cup of mulled wine or hot sangria from The Naughty or Nice Bar, check out the candy-cane inspired wonderland at Madrina’s Peppermint Patio, or don your most festive holiday attire once more at The Ugly Sweater Patio Bar.
If you’re planning to attend, keep in mind that New Year’s Eve follows a specific ticketing schedule. Entry is free for those visiting between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. for early shopping, while tickets for the evening festivities range from $15 to $35 depending on your arrival time.
A NYE Bash ticket is required for anyone staying for the DJ set and fireworks. Be sure to book your tickets in advance online, as there won’t be a box office on-site.
To make your journey even sweeter, GO Transit and UP Express will be offering free service starting at 7 p.m., ensuring everyone gets home safely. Happy New Year, Toronto!
