Toronto’s Immersive Dr. Seuss Experience Has Been Extended Through April

You have two extra months left to explore this spectacle!

Originally set to close in early January, tickets to the World Premiere of The Dr. Seuss Experience are now available up until March 22^nd. The Experience has been a few years in the making and this is reflected in the attention to detail, focused on creating an immersive experience for Dr. Seuss fans of all ages.

Each room offers a different, colorful and enticing experience, dedicated to nine different Dr. Seuss creations, including the world-famous: How The Grinch Stole Christmas!, Horton Hears a Who! and The Lorax.

You are encouraged to rhyme your way around one of the rooms, uncovering hidden experiences as you rummage, according to the clues, and then move on to the next Seuss-themed surprise.

Then, if you’re already missing the festive season, you can step over the threshold into an enchanting Grinch-themed room. The Experience is perfect for returning you to the childhood glee of Christmas morning, so it is a great way to entertain kids.

You can immerse yourself in the world of Dr. Seuss completely and experience it from every angle, with mirrors lining the walls of some rooms to toy with your spatial awareness, as you move from one world to another. There is even a floor to ceiling balloon maze for you to walk through – not something you’d do every day!

The CEO of the company Kilburn, who has created the experience alongside Dr. Seuss Enterprises, told AP news that the installation is designed to encourage children to read and to encourage healthy, social attitudes amongst youngsters. So, whilst meeting their favourite members of the Dr. Seuss entourage, kids can hopefully take a positive message from the experience.

According to the organizers, you can anticipate spending an hour or so in this magical universe but you will be the envy of your Instagram followers for even longer! You can grab yourself some souvenirs at sizeable the gift shop, too!
