There’s just a few days left to apply to be cast as an extra in Guillermo Del Toro’s newest flick Frankenstein, which is currently filming in Toronto.
A casting company is still hiring male extras for the horror film, and you just might see Australian actor Jacob Elordi on set!
Dates of the shoot are still TBD, but are expected to take place for four days in early March. Extras will be paid $16.55 per hour with an eight-hour minimum.
Currently, they are looking to fill the following roles:
1. Sailors
Looking for males between 35 – 54 years old, open to all ethnicities. Performers will play Nordic sailors in the 1800s. Height between 5’8 and 6′. Should have natural hair colours with minimum length of 2-3″ all around. Must be willing to cut hair as needed for creative direction. Must also have beards or be willing to grow out facial hair and have it trimmed or groomed by production as required.
2. Medical Students
Looking for males between 20 – 29 years old, open to all ethnicities. Performers will play medical students in the 1800s, can be clean shaven or have facial hair for this role. Tentative dates of filming are March 11 and 12.
3. Professors in the 1800s
Looking for males between 40 – 56 years old, open to all ethnicities. Performers will play professors in the 1800s. Should have natural hair colours with minimum length of 2-3″ all around, long enough to use a curling iron on it. Must be willing to cut length as needed for creative direction. Can be clean shaven or have facial hair for this role.
