You can bid on record-breaking items such as the world’s largest pinball game and one of the smallest bicycles in the world.
Guinness World Records, the “ultimate authority on record-breaking achievements”, has operated a franchised landmark museum in Niagara Falls, Ontario since June 16, 1978. The popular museum located on Clifton Hill held an astonishing collection of famous objects and memorabilia in tribute to the The Guinness World Records Book.
While the museum’s 42-year run has come to an end since it closed permanently on September 7, 2020, it’s still not too late to save a piece or two of world record history! Many of the items previously displayed at the museum are now available for sale through an online auction.
On Ripley Auctions, you can browse through the online catalog and bid virtually for the shuttered museum’s remarkable rarities. The bidding has already begun, and you have until February 12, 2021 at 5 pm Eastern Time to place your offers.
Some of the fascinating things available in the auction:
- A giant Atari Hercules pinball machine, which holds the record for the largest pinball game
- A miniature bicycle, which was once one of the smallest bicycles in the world and was ridden by Las Vegas performer Charlie ‘Charly’ Charles
- A miniature Koran, which once held a record for the world’s smallest Koran
- Wayne Gretzky memorabilia including a signed jersey, puck and stick
- Dan Marino memorabilia including a signed jersey, helmet, and football
- A 42” tall Gordie Howe sculpted caricature
- And more!
Please note: All bids are in U.S. dollars, and buyers will be responsible for all shipping costs.
Happy bidding!
