Here are some of the most festive holiday-themed pop-up bars in Toronto to check out this season:
1. Miracle Toronto
One of the city’s most beloved holiday pop-ups, Miracle Toronto is back this year at Third Place on Bloor Street West. This bar brought to you by the award-winning team behind Civil Liberties is decked out in extravagant Christmas decorations and offers a menu packed with holiday-themed cocktails like the “Christmapolitan” and “Jingle Balls Nog.”
They also donate $1 from every drink to a local charity, adding a nice touch of giving to your night out. It’s a cozy winter wonderland with plenty of Instagram-worthy spots and festive events, including visits from Santa and Christmas-themed drag shows! Miracle opens for the season on November 15.

2. Ginger’s
New for 2024, Ginger’s is a festive pop-up hosted by Le Dolci Culinary Studio in Toronto’s Junction Triangle. This holiday grotto offers a cozy, winter wonderland atmosphere with holiday music, cheerful decor, and a menu full of themed cocktails.
Sip on creations like the Snow Globe Frosty or the Sugar Plum Spritz, and enjoy decadent sweet baked treats like Pumpkin Pie Butter Tarts and Ginger Molasses Cookies. The pop-up runs from November 15 to December 24, making it a must-visit for those who want to indulge in festive cheer with a creative drink in hand.

3. Mistletoe’s & Margaritas at Papi Chulo’s
Ossington’s buzzy hotspot for Mexican farePapi Chulo’s is bringing back their iconic Mistletoe’s & Margaritas pop-up for its fourth year. This spot offers a unique mix of holiday cheer and tropical vibes with themed drinks like their signature margaritas adorned with festive garnishes.
The interior is decked out to the max with Christmas lights and holiday-themed props, perfect for a fun photo op. In addition to their creative cocktails, be sure to come hungry as they’ll be serving up their tasty tacos, guac, Mexican wings, and more.

4. House of York
Known for their annual tree lighting ceremony and Front Street window display every Christmas season, Toronto’s landmark hotel the Fairmont Royal York is replacing the Thirsty Elf with a brand new pop-up this year. House of York is a cozy, inviting space inspired by nostalgic Canadian winters, capturing the essence of a cozy, rustic cabin retreat.
Nestle into their plush seating and sip one of their specially crafted holiday cocktails before admiring this year’s ornate Christmas tree in the hotel lobby.

5. Melody’s at Gladstone House
Another new pop-up for 2024 to add to your list will arrive at Toronto’s Gladstone House this November. Melody’s is an elevated holiday dining experience featuring festive cocktails and a refined comfort menu with seasonal flair, all set within a winter wonderland.
Running from November 20 through New Year’s Eve, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped foot inside a snow globe at this enchanting space as you immerse yourself in the holiday spirit.

6. The Tipsy Reindeer
Located within the Stockyards, The Tipsy Reindeer is yet another new pop-up bar to greet the city this year, running until December 23, 2024.
Serving a wide variety of both hot and cold cocktails along with non-alcoholic beverages, the space is full of wacky yet whimsical photo ops and kitschy decor.

7. Nordic by BarChef
BarChef has once again brought back its iconic yurt-inspired pop-up bar to The Well. The intimate Scandinavian-inspired space is complete with plush, sheepskin throws, woodsy aromas, and their signature elevated cocktails – now with a seasonal twist.
