Take an unforgotteable journey through one of England’s most innovative and successful bands who transcended their beginnings as one of Britain’s first psychedelic groups to become one of the most sonically and visually inspired, experimental, and unique bands in music history.
The exhibit titled,The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains by the company S2BN, willl be setting up at Toronto’s Better Living Centre on June 16th.
The band unfortunately broke up after Roger Waters left in 1985 to pursue a solo career, but Pink Floyd has continued to make an impact. Their singles like ‘Money’ and ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ have been used in important movies and cities across the world have put on psychedelic light shows attributed to their iconic discography.
Now, an exhibit is arriving to Toronto after taking over cities like Rome, Los Angeles, and London that takes visitors on a chronological journey of the band’s history and impact.
The exhibit is split into chapters that take visitors on a journey from moments that spanned across 1967 to the 2000s with artifacts that are brought to the public for the first time. Personal letters, musical instruments, and stage props are relics of the workflow of an iconic band. There are even audios and visuals that take you into the band’s world inspired by their iconic albums like The Dark Side of the Moon.
You’re going to wish you were here on June 16th so head to their website to get your tickets.
