Our brief stint of summer-like weather might be departing for the time being, but that’s not stopping one of Toronto’s favourite water parks from reopening for the season this weekend!
While Canada’s Wonderland has already kicked off its rollercoaster season as of May 3, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, the park will officially also reopen Splash Works for the summer.

The sprawling water park features an impressive lineup of 18 water-themed attractions, ensuring there is something to look forward to for guests of all ages. Thrill-seekers can test their limits with some cliff jumping that’s sure to get the heart racing, while those looking to tone things down a notch can leisurely float along the Lazy River.
One of Wonderland park-goers’ favourite attractions at Splash Works is catching the swells at Whitewater Bay, which has the title of Canada’s largest outdoor wave pool.
Entry to the water park is fully included with your regular theme park admission tickets or season pass, meaning you won’t have to pay a single penny extra to cool off after hitting the coasters.
Splash Works will officially open its gates on Saturday, May 23. Grab your swimsuits, pack the sunscreen, and get ready for an unforgettable sunny season.
