Canada’s largest amusement park is officially back for the 2026 season, welcoming thrill-seekers across the GTA for another summer of high-octane fun.
As of yesterday, May 3, Canada’s Wonderland swung its gates open, marking the return of its 200+ attractions including sky-high drops, world-class roller coasters, games, food, and more.

One of the park’s most anticipated rides this season is the debut of The DareDeviler. The park has breathed new life into the classic Flight Deck coaster, transforming it into a smoother, more immersive aviation-themed adventure. With all-new trains and vest-style restraints, you can expect the same stomach-churning intensity without the old-school head-rattling.
Though not open just yet, the DareDeviler joins the ranks of the record-breaking AlpenFury, which returns for its second year as the country’s tallest and fastest launch coaster. The revamped ride is expected to open in early summer.
In addition to the rides, the 2026 season is packed with live entertainment and new menu offerings. Experience a cirque-style spectacle along with your meal at the Canterbury Theatre, featuring fire juggling and acrobatics at The King’s Banquet, catch a comedic stunt-dive show Watchtower at Arthur’s Baye, and visit the new and improved Sweet Spot, an iconic candy shop on International Street now serving up trendy tanghulu fruit skewers.

The park is currently operating on weekends, but daily operations will begin later this month just in time for the Victoria Day long weekend. Splash Works is also slated to reopen on May 23, complete with 20 acres of water slides and wave pools.
New Chaperone Policy
If you’re planning a trip, keep in mind the park’s updated chaperone policy, which requires guests aged 15 and under to be accompanied by an adult after 4:00 p.m. One adult can act as a chaperone for up to 10 guests, and the park requires chaperones to be reachable by phone and stay with their group throughout the evening.
