Asian Food Markets are some of the most exciting markets globally, and we’re so stoked that Toronto’s getting one of its own at Stackt Market!
And iff there’s one thing we can get behind, it’s a community space brought together by local food. You’ve probably been to or at least heard of Stackt Market, but if you haven’t, allow us to introduce you to one of our favorite projects here in Toronto.
Stackt Market offer pop up and residential spots for vendors that creates an ecosystem of interesting shops, small food vendors, and local shops that will take anyone on a unique journey through Toronto’s most unique creators and makers. For purveyors of food and wares from small businesses, you won’t want to miss this.
For anyone wanting to spend a long, warm weekend outside, you can head to Stackt Market to enjoy their microbrewery, patio, west lawn, and courtyard where they all have unique menus from tacos to sake.
Now that we’e set the scene on where you’ll be going, let’s talk about this weekend’s main event: their Asian Food Market which is just the first in a 5-part series of summer events!
On May 20th from 4pm-10pm, enjoy fantastic Asian food from over 50 vendors! They’ve got a whole range of choices that’ll probably have your head spinning, from Szechuan to Baos to Filipino food and more. As far as entertainment goes, they’ve arranged for DJs, live performances, a photo booth, and even an origami workshop. What’s even better…the event is completely free to attend!
