A glowing party on wheels will soon be cruising through the streets of Toronto once again!
If you missed the last Bike Party, you’re in luck! The beloved “rolling rave” returns this Saturday, July 18, inviting riders to light up their bikes and cruise through Toronto on a free community celebration unlike anything else in the city.

Since 2017, Bike Party Toronto has transformed ordinary bike rides into one of the city’s most unique nights out, bringing hundreds of cyclists together for an illuminated after-dark ride complete with music, lights, and plenty of dancing.
The evening centres around a mystery route that weaves through downtown streets, neighbourhoods, laneways, and parks. Riders won’t know the exact path until the event begins, but they can expect surprise stops along the way where the music keeps pumping and the dance parties continue before the group heads off again.

Part of the magic is the soundtrack. Organizers release a shared playlist ahead of time, allowing everyone to press play simultaneously and turn the entire ride into one giant moving speaker system. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own playlist and portable speaker if you’d rather soundtrack the ride yourself.
While Bike Party Toronto is completely free to attend, donations are encouraged to help cover expenses like sound equipment and safety supplies. The event is entirely volunteer-run and community-funded, making it accessible to anyone who wants to join the fun.
The ride kicks off at 7:30 p.m. from a secret meeting location that is emailed to registered participants before the event. Whether you’re riding a bicycle, scooter, or another wheel-powered ride, the only real requirement is to decorate it with plenty of lights and come ready to dance your way across the city.
Registration is required, and more information is available on Bike Party Toronto’s website.
