It seems the summer-like weather Toronto experienced this week was a cruel tease, as winter is coming back to the city just days later.
Accompanying the plunging temperatures as we move towards the weekend is also some snow, so brace yourselves for another dip in this “Polar Coaster” of a spring Toronto is experiencing.
After highs reached near 20 C in the city on Wednesday, Thursday already saw a noticeable drop back down to 10 C, and will continue to plummet overnight as low as 3 C with some rain in the forecast.
Sadly, this isn’t the worst of it either, with a very chilly weekend and following week lined up for us.
The Weather Network is predicting a cold and dreary St. Patrick’s Day for us, with lows hovering around the freezing mark and rain.
By Monday, the warmest it will get is around 2 C, but will feel like – 2 C.
There are also some scattered flurries in the forecast, although only 1 cm is anticipated for Toronto.
Despite the gloomy weather ahead, there are tons of activities and events to brighten your spirits this weekend, including the biggest St. Patrick’s Day party in the country!
