Wrap warm up this weekend!
If you thought that it would only get snowier and colder throughout January, you were correct! The Weather Network has reported that Ontario is about to be hit with 10-20cm of snow over this weekend alone!
Temperatures are likely to drop significantly below what we would usually expect for this time of year and this could potentially impact both roads and air travel.

According to the government weather forecast, the snow will begin late on Saturday morning and could continue into Monday night.
You may remember last year’s blizzard, when, according to Toronto Weather Stats, just over 63cm of snow fell in January. This caused plenty of disruption across the city, with cars buried in snow and some schools closed. We have already seen around 9cm of snowfall this January.
So, how might this affect you?
The weather warning released today advises that: ‘Visibilities will be reduced in areas of blowing snow, which can make travel hazardous.’
The official advice is that you should: ‘Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.’
So, if you haven’t already, it’s time to dig your snow shovel out and brace yourselves for the cold weather ahead!
