3. Fish for free
Get out on the water this Father’s Day weekend and go fishing with dad license-free! OFFE lets Canadian residents fish for free on just four periods throughout the year, including Family Day weekend, Mother’s Day weekend, Father’s Day weekend, and 9 days in July during National Fishing Week. You’ll still have to follow the Conservation fishing license limits, but it’s a great way to get in some quality bonding time while waiting to reel one in.

4. Father’s Day BBQ at Chotto Matte

Treat dad to a special curated Father’s Day BBQ menu this Sunday, June 16 at Japanese Peruvian fusion restaurant Chotto Matte, who is offering a delectable feast of BBQ meats, tostadas, spring rolls, and so much more. For $90 a person, the specialty Father’s Day menu is offered all day during their operating hours.

5. Take a brewery tour
If your dad’s a fan of beer, then there’s a ton of breweries to wet your whistle in Toronto. For Father’s Day, take him on a brewery tour in a city known for its craft beer scene. 6. Taste of Little Italy
If your dad loves Italian, Toronto’s Taste of Little Italy street festival is taking place this weekend, which will have a variety of delicious food vendors, live entertainment, shopping, free tastings, and more. Running from Bathurst to Shaw Street, the festivities start this Friday June 14 from 7 p.m. – 1 a.m., and run all Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. – 1 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.

8. Yorkville Exotic Car Show

Whether you or your dad are car fanatics or not, the Yorkville Exotic Car Show is an awesome outing to check out this Sunday. Running from Bloor Street between Avenue Road and Yonge Street, classic and exotic cars will line the streets of Yorkville, all in support of Melanoma Canada. You’ll get to see and snap photos with some of the most luxurious cars in the world, including Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, American super cars, and more.

9. Meet and Greet with Toronto Blue Jays Pitcher Chris Bassitt

10. Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival
This weekend, over 5000 athletes will take part in the Toronto International Dragon Boat Race Festival as it returns to Centre Island for its 33rd year. For attendees, there will also be tons of local artists exhibiting, heritage performers, live entertainment, and so much more. The event is free to attend for spectators.
