It’s been a cold, blustery start to spring in Toronto, but luckily, there are tons of great indoor activities to take advantage of until it warms up outside!
In celebration of their 110th anniversary, the Royal Ontario Museum is offering free admission all weekend long.
On Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24, you can check out the ROM’s various exhibitions free of charge, including their specialty ones Death: Life’s Greatest Mystery and Wildlife Photographer of the Year.
Death: Life’s Greatest Mystery explores how life and death are “part of a universal, continuous, and cyclical process”, shown through artifacts, specimens, and immersive experiences.
Wildlife Photographer of the Year is the longest-running and most prestigious annual nature photography competition in the world, and you get to see the top 100 images selected from this year’s competition.
There’s also the current installation of Zuul you won’t want to miss, which is closing March 24. This exhibit displays a preserved ankylosaur skeleton which is one of the most complete ever uncovered.
The museum will be open all weekend from 10 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and no ticket will be required.
It’s the perfect time to see these incredible exhibits before they’re gone!
