5. See magical dragons at Casa Loma
Let your imaginations run wild at Casa Loma’s Imagine Dragons programming this March Break, where the iconic building is transformed into a fairy-tale castle in an era of dragons.

6. Explore a whole new world at Disney’s Aladdin musical
Hit Broadway musical Disney’s Aladdin is in Toronto until March 17, and you’re sure to fall in love with the enchanting story brought to life by the producer of The Lion King. Sing along to your favourite songs by The Genie, Princess Jasmine, and Aladdin himself at the Princess of Wales Theatre.

7. Go ice skating at an outdoor rink
Before the ice melts, go skating with the family at one of the city’s various outdoor ice rinks, many of which have ongoing events. 8. Wander around the Art Gallery of Ontario
Home to over 90,000 works of art, the Art Gallery of Ontario is a great way to spend a day in the city, exploring the various galleries, interactive art activations, and maker courts. Anyone under the age of 25 is also entitled to free admission to the gallery, or on Wednesday evenings from 6 – 9 p.m.

9. Pick up a sweet treat at Sugar Shack TO
On March 9 and 10, 2024, Sugar Shack TO takes over the Toronto Waterfront in a celebration of all things maple, so stop by and get yourself something sweet! Warm up by the bon fires while snacking on a maple taffy from one of the shacks, check out a winter circus lumberjack show, attend classes, or enter various giveaways.

10. Meet unique animals at the Toronto Zoo
Home to over 4000 animals, 10 km of walking trails, and four tropical pavilions, the Toronto Zoo is an incredible way to spend a day of your March Break at. From Saturday March 9 through Sunday March 17, the Toronto Zoo is extending its admission hours from 9:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily. There will also be a range of March Break-themed activities for the kids to take advantage of, such as a Paw Patrol Dance Party to a visit to the Orchid Oasis.
